Impressive Sicilian artistic ceramic candelabra
46 cm high which for the style and colors of Caltagirone ceramics of the Sicilian tradition.
Color and Glaze: The finish features a highly glossy glaze in shades of deep turquoise/aqua and darker blue-green. The effect is a rich and fascinating mottled or "dripped" texture.
The main structure is a column with a wide base that narrows as it rises and then expands at the top.
It features five candle holders: a central one at the top and four lower ones arranged symmetrically, two on each side. The candle holders are shaped like small cups.
The supporting elements and arms are richly decorated with scrolls and curls in Baroque or Rococo style, which contribute to giving the object a majestic and decorative appearance.
The workmanship is obviously completely handcrafted
It is a visually striking piece, perfect for furnishings that evoke Mediterranean craftsmanship or baroque elegance.
